On routes of two different lengths you will encounter stories, tales and history. Many commemorative wayside shrines and chapels line these scenic routes. Every place tells interesting and exciting stories. First there is a woodland path, passing by the Leberkegeln (Roman cairns from the 1st and 2nd century AD), followed by woodland paths and quiet local roads.
When taking the shorter route you pass by vineyards in Stein valley, rejoining the longer route again at Kleinsteinberg.
The longer trail finally leads to Kögelberg along a crest (the highest point of Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district at 405 m).
With both routes you get down to Loipersdorf via Oberberg, and then walk towards Rehgraben through the woodland path back to Thermae Loipersdorf Spa. What a wonderful experience!
